Proteus is an omnidirectional, highly modular and robust unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV). The main purpose of this system is to act as a research platform for different academic studies. At the same time, together with local authorities, the system will be tested to support divers during ammunition recoveries from Swiss lakes. 


This prototype design should one day be able to dive in high current environments to support rescue divers in search and recovery operations. After the successful analysis with CFD tools,  which allowed us the evaluation of a suitable propulsion system, we are now looking forward to build this robot in the near future. 


SCUBO 2.0 is a fully omnidirectional ROV which was developed for the MATE International ROV Competition. With its front facing stereo camera and powerful gripper, it can be used for a variety of different tasks.
